TWI Training - Process Improvement

The small number of qualified employees in the Polish labor market means that companies are increasingly turning to proven tools and techniques that can help them improve and simplify their processes. This applies not only to production processes but also to processes related to onboarding and employee retention.

Every downtime, every mistake, and every inefficient work method is a real loss for the organization. In such a dynamic and demanding environment, there is no room for improvisation. That is why conscious companies return to the basics and what truly works. TWI (Training Within Industry) training is a globally proven system for developing the competencies of line leaders, foremen, and instructors, which has a real impact on onboarding time, work quality, and workplace safety.

TWI is not “just another theory” – it is a practical standard for managing people and work that helped, among others, Toyota build the foundations of their operations, which millions of companies now benefit from – this is, of course, Lean Management.

Your company can also benefit from implementing TWI. Find out how.

Why Choose Our TWI (Training Within Industry) Workshops?

Our TWI workshops, conducted by experienced trainers, stand out primarily for their practical approach and focus on real business results. The training is led by practitioners who effectively combine theory with exercises during the sessions. The entire training takes place on the client’s actual process, not just examples from other industries or simulations. This allows participants to acquire skills that can be immediately implemented in their own workplaces.

During our TWI workshops, participants learn how to:

  • Effectively instruct new employees and transfer knowledge and skills.
  • Analyze and optimize existing production and service processes.
  • Build positive and lasting relationships with employees, increasing their engagement and job satisfaction.

TWI training provides numerous tangible benefits that translate into improved operational efficiency for your company. By participating in the training, you can expect:

  • Increased team productivity and reduction of errors and defects.
  • Shortened adaptation time for new employees through an effective and repeatable instruction method.
  • Enhanced process quality through systematic improvement of work methods.
  • Improved work atmosphere and reduced conflicts thanks to better relationship management.

Example: After implementing the Employee Instruction module, a manufacturing company reduced the onboarding time for new employees by 35%, which directly resulted in increased productivity of the entire team. Additionally, there was a side effect of reduced employee turnover during the first few weeks, as new hires quickly adapted to the organization.

The process improvement workshops based on the TWI method are primarily designed for:

  • Managers and team leaders: in production, service, and administrative areas
  • Continuous improvement specialists
  • Internal trainers responsible for onboarding new employees
  • HR managers responsible for building engagement and positive team relationships

Theoretical training conducted in conference rooms using case studies and simulations helps build theoretical knowledge and raise awareness. However, our workshops emphasize the practical application of TWI. During the sessions with the trainer, participants work directly on processes familiar to them and create real documentation. What is the final result? After completing the training, employees not only gain practical knowledge but also implement TWI in their own workplaces. This gives workshop participants confidence and assurance that they can continue applying the acquired skills in other positions, and that the knowledge gained will quickly translate into improved operational results for the company.
