5s and a salt shaker

Do you like conducting audits?

For me, it is a great opportunity to get to know the audited areas, the people who work there and their problems. It's not always perfect and pleasant - life.

Recently I had the pleasure of auditing a certain area of production, where you felt very responsible for the entire line and maintaining high standards. To the question "How do you understand 5S?" she replied without a moment's hesitation:

“5S is when I go into the kitchen at night and I can reach the salt without turning on the light because it is always in its place”

I was picking my jaw up off the floor for a long time. Such people restore my faith in what I do. Thank you!

What are the best definitions of 5S that you have come across?
