For me, it is a great opportunity to get to know the audited areas, the people who work there and their problems. It's not always perfect and pleasant - life.
Recently, I had the pleasure of auditing a certain area in production, where you felt very responsible for the entire line and maintaining high standards. When asked “How do you understand 5s” she replied without hesitation:
“5s is when I go into the kitchen at night and without turning on the light I can reach the salt because it always stays in place”
I was picking my jaw up off the floor for a long time. Such people restore my faith in what I do. Thank you!
